Welcome to the Safe Haven Restoration Project
At Safe Haven Restoration Project, we believe every survivor of domestic violence deserves a safe, stable home — a foundation
for healing, rebuilding families, and creating thriving neighborhoods.
Our mission is to transform distressed properties into dignified, affordable homes for survivors of domestic violence and families in crisis — while empowering them through
workforce training, financial literacy, and healing-centered support.
Rooted in Baltimore but driven by a vision that reaches beyond city limits, we partner with local residents, nonprofits, and government agencies to breathe life back into vacant homes and neglected blocks.
Survivors gain paid apprenticeships and rebuild self-sufficiency through skill-based training
in home renovation and maintenance.
Each renovated home becomes a sanctuary for individuals and families escaping domestic abuse, turning vacant spaces into safe havens of recovery and renewal.
Our Domestic Violence Housing Program provides transitional and long-term housing for
survivors escaping abuse. Each home is paired with wraparound support — including
trauma-informed counseling, job placement, and financial coaching — to help families
rebuild their lives with dignity.
